Nature of Mind
The main concept behind this is that the mind is calm in its natural state. If you can give less attention to anxious/negative thoughts and feelings, you can naturally experience a greater sense of calm and ease. The clouds represent those thoughts/feelings and the blue sky is the intrinsic calmness of mind. This may sound obvious but is often overlooked: thoughts are only thoughts and feelings are only feelings, they can only carry as much weight as you give them. Although natural, worrying and getting frustrated are usually a waste of time. So even though the clouds might be there at times, the blue sky is always there. I’m not an artist but I am someone, like many others, who has struggled with mental health.
