Loosely-based upon the sculpture of Dr. Jose Rizal titled "Science's Victory Over Death," Nature's Victory Over Death shows my belief that eating healthy fruits and vegetables can enable a person to make the body as alkaline as possible so as to make the body a hostile environment to bacteria and viruses. Vines of camote and chayote surround the anatomy of the woman and help compose her physique. I chose to use a muscular physique to show the strength of the woman and to show a positive image of the Black Woman.
