Noah Henry: A Rainbow Story
This is one of the images from an illustrated story for families I wrote about the pandemic called Noah Henry: A Rainbow Story. It has been an important resource for educators, parents, and the mental health community. I am an artist and cartoonist, as well as the mother of two little boys. I was looking for a way to discuss the pandemic with kids, and consulted with my mother, a retired pediatrician with a degree in public health. We felt it was best to leave some room for children and their caretakers to tell their own stories. Many thanks to Graciela Rodriguez GarcĂa, a child therapist, for the translation to Spanish. Both the English and Spanish versions are available here: Facebook.com/arainbowstory
