Odichieng’ Manyien, Teko Manyien
All around us, during this pandemic period, are narratives advocating for spending time wisely, learning new skills and improving your craft, and while it is well meaning, not everyone has the mental capacity to do so. So the posters I’ve created are to remind you that all you need is the strength for today. Then tomorrow, the same, and the day after. As long as we get to the end safely, it all counts as time well spent. I am translating this message to different vernacular languages (in Kenya and hopefully other common ones around the globe) as I believe this message is just as important to those who cannot read English/Swahili. (This is the Dholuo version, one of Kenya’s vernacular languages)
