This piece is a 15' tall figure sitting lotus pose with a literal open heart. The piece was first constructed with sticks and branches, later covered with fiberglass. It demonstrates how we are all nature on the inside, which a hard manmade shell, but this shell can be overcome with an open heart. I have been touched in these trying times how many people are coming together to help each other. It seems that in a crisis we are reminded of what's really important.
