Collective care is the future say some. The Earth is healing as are we. Those battling an unseen enemy on the front rows witness firsthand what it means to be suffering in the loss of health. My work aims to show how the physician fights along with the patient, aware of how a disease can change everything and how much courage it takes to face it and drag it out. Influenced by the theme of healthcare, it portrays the physician struggling to provide panacea, or healing. Prisoners to the passages of an illness tramping the globe, we stand still, waiting to be pulled out, waiting to be healed, leaving the battlefield to the real heroes not in capes, but makeshift masks.
