This is a poster work I recreated from my original photography from 2011, Long Time No See, to respond to the current COVID-19 global situation. As social human beings, we now need each other more than ever, and although people can’t meet physically, we can connect mentally and through shared feelings. The body can be separated, but not our collective efforts to support one another and to fight the pandemic together. Physical distancing, Social Solidarity emphasizes the need for social solidarity and not social distancing.
