This artwork draws the parallels between pandemics of the past and the one we are currently facing. It’s goal is to highlight those that have worked throughout history to heal by using a plague mask and modern medical gloves as visual reminders that there is always someone ready to go into the front lines to help heal. The dots at the bottom represent the maps of outbreaks and the falling caution tape represents people's inconsistent action towards slowing the spread. The imagine is supposed to be ominous and make you think about where we’ve come from and how we’re going to respond to this crisis.
