“Por nuestro pueblo” honors the labor of those in the frontline of the current pandemia, and highlights their vulnerability in this chaos. They are risking their life to provide others and facing the inequity of socioeconomic issues such as not earning a livable wage. They are not staying at home because they can’t afford to do so, and in most cases, they are not even protected how they supposed to be. Among these people, undocumented immigrants are the first ones to be hit by the coronavirus shutdown and the most affected if exposed to the virus.
