I lived in New York for 14 years. New York is facing a very rough time now. I've also lost a few people I know in this month. My boyfriend is a firefighter. He goes to so many runs for cardiac arrest every time he goes to work while taking his own risks. I'm an artist. All I can do is taking care of him, to keep making art and praying. I'm from Japan which is a very spiritual country. I don't particularly worship religions but I really appreciate the aesthetics and ideas. I believe in the power of prayer. I drew two gods I liked from my country. I laid out them in two columns like a Ying Yang to express my hope to get back a good balance for the future. I also think "STAY HOME" means "STAY INSIDE YOUR HEART". To keep your mental health is very important at this time that we lose a lot of people we love, jobs, money, and things we like to do. There is my favorite song called "Home is where the heart is" which is a love song, but I wanted to use the word because I think home is your heart. "Stay Home" is also "Stay inside your heart" to me.
