Prayer is using these hands to make miracles happen. When my father had covid 19, I approached self-care like meditation. I found ritual in washing my hands, wearing gloves and a mask. Only with utmost care was I able to care for him without getting sick. If I got sick who would make him drink when he couldn't, or who would make him go to the hospital when he couldn't breath? He recovered well and I'm still healthy. I hope this painting gives inspiration to find beauty in self-care, small practices can save lives... Wash your hands.
