This piece pays homage to Spike Lee's movie, Do The Right Thing. It depicts the character, Radio Raheem sporting a protective mask, as well as a new message on his iconic 4 finger rings; STAY HOME. The art style is reminiscent of late 80's and early 90's comic books which is also the same time period of the cult classic film. This work of art was created by the visual artist, Caiphus. It was digitally sculpted in 3D and composited with separate render passes. This pop culture/virus mash up gives new relevance to the current Covid19 pandemic.
