In a world of constant turbulence, the small moments of peace mean even more. The purpose of this piece was to represent how little time to breathe we, as a population, have had over the last few years. I sought to capture tossing and turning in a chaotic world. The pain of the last few years is demonstrated in the whorls surrounding the tea, while the muted colors of the cup show quiet and rest.
