The beaches, hiking trails and playgrounds were closed stands out in my COVID memories. These places represented both life as I had known it and a future filled with more adventures to come. When the beaches reopened, I was thrilled to feel the sand between my toes and fill my camera lens with beauty. This image, taken that first trip out, captured that spirit of adventure I had missed so much.
