I took this photo right before the final trek to summit Monte Perdido, in the Spanish Pyrenees during a hiking trip with my dad. The trail ended miles back, but we were determined to finish the climb. Visibility was extremely limited, as the clouds enveloped us. I was terrified but, I will forever be thankful that we finished that hike and I think the smile on my dad’s face says it all.
