This self-portrait explores my process of reconnecting with my childhood during the pandemic. Through the isolation of pandemic lockdown, I began to reexamine unresolved aspects of my childhood through a new, more meditative lens. This image attempts to examine my perspective as a teenager before and during the pandemic, focusing on themes of memory, maturity, and unease in order to better understand growing up in these times.
