As we transition back to pre-pandemic, pre-online school life, I find myself trying to understand how the technology meant to connect us - social media, email, YouTube - can leave us feeling even more isolated than how we felt without it. Perhaps it is a bad sign that I look for answers in a telephone pole connected on all sides with wires and yet so completely alone against the sky.
