This photograph shows my father reconnecting with his African roots and as he reconnects, so do I. This alludes to the strong, powerful, and proud culture that many Africans have and pass on to their descendants. As an African descendant, myself, I am proud to be a part of this culture that continues to overcome and refuses to be deterred from the possibilities and opportunities of the future.
