This image represents a reconnection with both my Asian and Caucasian heritage. As my immediate family was forced into isolation in the pandemic, we were unable to observe a lot of our traditions. As we looked for ways to adapt, the lines between the two cultures blurred. This image, a Westernized interpretation of Chinese culture, represents my journey to reclaim connections to both cultures while finding beauty in their coexistence.
