“Las Abejas” translates to “The Bees” in Spanish. During quarantine, I decided to become a beekeeper, having become intrigued by the bees’ way of life. I love the way the light reflects off their shiny wings, the stripes along their backs, and the colorful, little pollen pants sticking to their legs. This photo was one of the first photos I ever took of a bee because I was genuinely interested in them, not just their features.
