The irony of returning to “life” after a 2-year long worldwide massacre that claimed the lives of millions worldwide is striking: many are not returning to life. I’d like to believe that while we, the living lucky enough to read this writing who have avoided such a fate, reconnect with life via celebrating our existence in this world, the others, the dead, are celebrating their existence somewhere in an afterlife.
