Throughout the pandemic, my life was turned upside down. While I was lucky to be with my family, I experienced isolation, loneliness and disconnection. After transitioning back into a world of normalcy, I took this self portrait to illustrate the return of blood flow through my veins as a literal and metaphorical representation of reconnection.
