My photography takes inspiration from my identity as a musician in a time of loneliness for the world and for myself. The black and white medium allows me to capture contrast in relationships, and in my self-portraits, I examine the tension that comes with creating. Here, I used a spotlight against the night sky to convey solitude, concentration, uncertainty, and the feeling that the only thing that matters is the music.
