“Reconnecting with my community” was one of the most important parts of my journey. My community is much more than buildings, but also the people who’ve raised me, the street vendors, and what I consider as my landmarks. Growing up I had to witness a lot of change due to gentrification, and as much as my community is very divided with territories, I still see unity within. Jade Carrera , CA 3/6/22
