I am reconnecting with my culture. When I was little, my mom used to take me and my siblings to different places to perform and learn Danza-Azteca, which is a form of native american dance. It was so fun and I was so lucky to grow up surrounded by my culture, but ever since the pandemic started, I haven’t gone, so that’s why I decided to recreate it for my submission.
