I’m from California, so the winter at college is an enigma. Feeling lost returning after a month at home, I decided to pull out my pink cloak, find a good patch of snow, and take self-portraits. I had recently dyed my hair pink, and it, like the Ohio landscape, felt unfamiliar, so I decided to document it as well. In these photos, where the overabundance of pink contrasts the white snow, I found myself again.
