After almost two years staying cooped up in our homes because of the pandemic, I definitely wanted to reconnect with the outside world and all of its inherent beauty. This portrait is of a friend of mine who’s traipsing down a trail, surrounded by towering pine trees and foliage. Ultimately, it symbolizes the utter reward of being outdoors as it stirs up positive emotions and also reminds us of how simple life can be.
