Reconnecting with Racial Justice
I took this photo with a medium-format Holga camera in the Inman Park district of Atlanta. I processed and developed the film in a dark room and personally printed and scanned it. Taking a trip down to Inman Park allowed me to leave my area of residence and begin to explore the world once more after being stuck inside due to Covid. This wall of graffiti immediately caught my eye. In light of recent events in Ukraine and around the world, I feel as though racial justice is being put on a back-burner, and this photograph reminded me of how prominent racial justice is in our modern society.
