This image was shot during 2020 and was sparked by the dramatic spike in anti-Asian hate crimes. Throughout the pandemic I've feared for the lives and safety of my family members and so to raise awareness and showcase the beauty of my family I created a series of images. This image portrays my Papa doing a traditional Thai greeting and sign of respect.
