This image was taken in my friend's dark open air apartment hallway during a dark time for both of us. I've always had trouble accepting the shadow parts of the human experience. However, in this photo I captured my journey of slowly moving from the light to the shadow and accepting that both are a part of life. Throughout the pandemic I've learned that to live in the light I must embrace the shadow.
