I took this photograph with a digital camera on one of my first outings since the beginning of COVID. I edited this photo using Lightroom, and the black and white mystique combined with the empty, blank path ahead paints a depressing yet hopeful picture. The darkness towards the fore of the photograph symbolizes the tough times to come until the end of the pandemic, yet the light towards the rear of the empty bridge represents a hopeful future. The emptiness of the bridge represents a new "blank slate".
