Reconnecting with the Ghosts
Taking dark scenery photos is something that I like creating because it’s easier to generate a story out of it and it provides the most emotion. I like to look at objects and scenery in a unique perspective before capturing it. A thought that often goes through my mind, as well, is how I can construct a theme and continue the process through editing. Having this thought process is very beneficial when it comes to what I prefer in photographing and editing. Not only that, I wanted to have a little more fun with it and added a shadow onto the scene, which may offer a story. Perhaps a scary one, in this case. In the end, I learned that taking a photo and leaving it as it is isn’t as riveting as editing and photoshopping it to bring out unique characteristics such as these ghosts. Photo by Haley Conde
