Reconnecting with the Landscape
It’s not very often that I come across a piece of ice as clear or thick as this. It creates the perfect, distorted frame. In December of 2021, I was fortunate enough to travel to Canyonlands National Park with my family, where I took this portrait of my sister. The expansive landscape in the background, and the figure of my sister in the front, are equally important, two ever-changing elements trapped in time.
