I took this photo at the beginning of the pandemic. The isolation disconnected me from normal life. I found myself separated from my school, my friends, my favorite things I used to do with my family, with no certainty of it coming back. I picked up the old binoculars hoping to reconnect with what lies ahead. This is when I discovered my passion for photography with the only lens connecting me to the outside world.
