During isolation, it was easy to live in my own world. In my world, I could leave myself in the dark where I lived oblivious and alone, but with some peace. When the confines of my comfort were burst and light flooded in, petrifying truths were revealed again. While the truth might be difficult to face, I recognize that I’d rather claw my way to the light than live in the dark.
