This photograph, of my own shadow reflected in a puddle, represents a dual reconnection, both with nature and with myself. I've often felt pressured to conform to what society expects, but in nature, I am free to be who I am. My image is in shadow, because I am still discovering aspects of my identity, but I am reaching out towards my true self.
