During the pandemic, my family was able to bond in new, more raw ways. I took this portrait of my dad and brother in April 2020. I looked out the window and found the intimacy of the haircut striking, it was such a simple way to connect that we hadn’t even considered prior to the pandemic. The act was emblematic of a reconnection with connection.
