With this piece, I wanted to promote the importance of staying at home and minimizing face-to-face contact as much as possible in an effort to “flatten the curve.” These interacting panels emphasize the paradox at the center of “social distancing”: that staying apart for the time being is the best way for us to care for each other as a community. Additionally, each panel depicts an activity that can promote well-being and social connection from one’s home, from painting and exercising to enjoying a video-chat game night with friends.
