Sheriff Wood Hanksy

As the dark cloud of Covid-19 passed through my home of Telluride Colorado I knew I wanted to spread positivity through my art. When the Telluride Ski Resort announced they would be closing early for the season, locals spirits were at an all time low. I gathered a handful of Telluride creatives to help me surprise the town with a humorous mural that was sure to put some smiles back on the faces of our town. Sheriff Wood Hanksy was born in a midnight gathering of artists, and revealed to the town the morning after the mountain closed. As the "shelter in place" order is in effect in our county we are reminded "this town ain't big enough for the both us". Telluride New Article
