I made this image for my artist friend who is alone and far away from family to bring him comfort. I have been exploring racial justice ideas a lot in the past 3 years and I want to add my creative voice to the work of many artists as we explore non-white depictions of divinity, angels and goodness. Also, believing that there is more "out there" than we can see with our eyes gives me fuel for activism.
