Inspired by the work of Andy Warhol, that called attention to celebrities in his pop-art (often dead celebrities like Elvis or Marilyn Monroe) COVID-19 is shown here in a hopeful soon-to-be-dead-celebrity state. COVID-19 is the newest celebrity, represented here in bold, acidy, contrasting colors to evoke visual discomfort in order to encourage the public to feel that same level of threat and discomfort about the virus depicted here and to STAY AT HOME to protect our most vulnerable. This message is repeated 3 times to encourage it to sink in, three times the charm.
