Due to the pandemic that's happening, our mental health has been a little neglected. As mental health provider I have noticed increased number of depression and anxiety with my clients. And I have been working on my own mental health by stepping outside for run in my neighborhood and while still social distancing and doing mindful practices. As practitioners, we use this acronym STOP to facilitate mindfulness. STOP is an acronym that stands for: S: Stop. Whatever you're doing, just pause momentarily. T: Take a breath. Re-connect with your breath. The breath is an anchor to the present moment. O: Observe. Notice what is happening. What is happening inside you, and outside of you? ... P: Proceed. Continue doing what you were doing.
