Self Portrait Charcoal on Drawing Paper 16x20 In response to the escalating infections at the onset of the pandemic and out of a sense of frustration and personal responsibility, I rendered this self portrait to communicate the need to take action against COVID-19 with the simple act of wearing a mask. It is my hope that the viewer will see themselves in the portrait and consider what their contributions might be to limit and overcome the virus with strength and compassion.
