This work depicts two young Nigerians in an embrace. Children are greatly impacted by the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic as they are no longer able to interact with one another through resources such as schools, churches, mosques and other social mechanisms. Making the decision to stay home protects a future where children can interact with each other without fear. It is a friendly reminder that social distancing is not permanent but is, however, necessary in this current climate. Inspired by vintage "propaganda" posters this work is meant to mobilize communities through symbolism and visual inspiration.
