This piece is painted with acrylic paint on a 14x14” stretched canvas. Since the day the virus broke out, the phenomenon that the world will never be the same has tended to linger within all our thoughts; insinuating that COVID-19 is has bloomed some sort of chaotic butterfly effect on our planet. One person made a choice, and the whole world is flipped upside down for a moment; or maybe a year. Or two; none of us really know. By painting this piece I purposely avoided words or phrases and just focused on bringing hope to people through the beauty of art; Something much more simple than the times we have ahead. Including the colors of the country that I am from, the masks that protects us through the unknown, and the circular designs representing the circle of life that has been cut short for so many people because of this virus.
