While respecting religious beliefs, there is a unifying and empowering notion that a solution is up to us. The answer lies within our actions. We have to be responsible to care for ourselves and others during this crucial time. The way out is in our hands. In our humanity. In the way we act right now and from now on. The hands are both human hands in this case, wearing sterile gloves and one holding a surgical mask. They’re both at a distance, suggesting the need for social distancing. The skin tones were also made diverse to show we are equal and we depend on each other. It serves to empower all of humanity, reminding us that we are equal, we must help each other and we must empower each other.
