Reconnecting with…Tradition. When quarantine occurred, places of worship closed down, which made connecting to my identity more difficult. As a Coptic person, where spirituality also connects to culture, I lost vital parts of myself. Reconnecting with tradition became more of an individual responsibility. Finding ways to reconnect and participate in spiritual and cultural traditions has helped me grow as a person and find peace in my identity.
