“The Spiral and the Serpent” The Spiral Sun symbolism originated from petroglyphs made by the Anasazi, the spiral sun was revered as an important healing symbol.  The Rod of Asclepius was associated with healing and medicine and the snake represents the creative life force transformation and healing.  Symbolism has been used from the beginning of time to remind us about the duality that exists in all things and that it is in our control to find inner balance.
