The time is the shadow of loneliness
This painting is a tribute to the late Spanish surrealist Artist Remedios Varo, who painted Rupture in 1955 as rebellion to her catholic school strict rules. It represents the surreal times we live in and the wish to rebel from quarantine, death, and loneliness. It's oil on canvas and part of a series of tributes I am doing to famous artists incorporating Covid19 themes and feelings during this crisis.
