THE VISIBLE EXHAUSTION
Early March, as coronavirus cases multiplied in Pesaro, a small city in Italy, Alberto Giuliani, a photographer who was also born there said that at first, people made jokes about the new reality. Giuliani started photo shooting the doctors and nurses who are treating dozens of coronavirus patients at Pesaro’s San Salvatore hospital. Those images inspired me to create this poster by the Russian Constructivism style. The Russian posters inspired me because I was learning about them. I see a big connection between Giuliani images because they scream about the reality happening at the moment. I wanted to tell the whole world, protesters, sceptics that the virus is not a joke. "People call us heroes but we don’t feel like heroes, we are medical doctors trying our best". Said one of the nurses. Stop calling them heroes, be a hero to yourself, by staying at home. Thank you!
